Conference papers
The submission page will open on September 4, 2022.
The submission deadline is November 20, 2022.
The conference papers of IVC-22 will be published in an open access journal, e-Journal of Surface Science and Nanotechnology (e-JSSNT).
A participant can submit proceeding papers with article processing charge (APC) of JPY 5,000 or JPY 10,000.
- A manuscript prepared by LaTeX : JPY 5,000
- A manuscript prepared by Microsoft Word or other word processors: JPY 10,000
All papers will be subject to peer review. All the participants, in particular the award winners are encouraged to submit the conference papers.
The conference papers may be nominated for various prizes of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science.
Publication Schedule
- The submission page will open on September 4, 2022.
- The deadline for manuscript submission is November 20, 2022.
- Submitted papers are individually published on the website immediately after the acceptance and are unaffected by delays of other papers.
How to submit a paper
- A manuscript can only be submitted on-line via the website of e-JSSNT (https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ejssnt) from after September 4, 2022.
- There is no page limitation for publication.
- The authors are encouraged to use color figures and movies.
- Detailed information about the manuscript preparation is available on the journal website (https://jvss.jp/ejssnt/index-ejssnt.html).
- The instruction for Web submission customized to IVC-22 will be available at https://jvss.jp/ejssnt/DLmaterials/IVC22-SubmissionManual.pdf.
The journal, e-Journal of Surface Science and Nanotechnology (eJSSNT), is indexed in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). All the manuscripts are subject to high-quality peer review. All the published papers are indexed by digital object identifiers and are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). In addition, the publication fee is extraordinarily economic compared to other open-access journals.
